My niece Emma, who is working in Namibia, Africa, with the Peace Corps, has visited the prison where Nelson Mandela was kept for many years.
Her favorite Mandela quote is this one.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it,” Mandela once said. “The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
